Ladies and Gentlemen!
The 50th Rolling Stock Conference – our anniversary event – will be held from 8–10 November 2026 at Messe Graz. We invite you to help make this conference a successful event by contributing an interesting presentation.
The overarching theme of this year’s conference is “Urban and Suburban Transport.” In this context, the railway sector is called upon to play a major role in advancing Sustainable Development Goal 11 (“Sustainable Cities and Communities”).
In addition to the general theme, contributions are particularly encouraged in the following focus areas:
- Vehicle concepts and platforms
- Rolling stock components
- Fleet management (replacement & refurbishment | maintenance | operation)
- Wheel–rail interaction
- Special vehicles (construction | maintenance | inspection | rescue)
The conference languages are German and English. Please submit your proposal by 31 January 2026, using the electronic form.
The Programme Committee will make a preliminary selection in February 2026 and inform potential speakers of the outcome.
Final acceptance of contributions requires the registration of the corresponding author for the conference (at the Early Bird rate) by 15 March 2026.
Each presentation will have a duration of 25 minutes. Full papers for inclusion in the conference proceedings (available both digitally and in print, published by Verlag der TU Graz) must be submitted by 15 July 2026 (detailed information will be distributed).
We look forward to receiving numerous submissions and to welcoming you (again) to Graz!
Yours sincerely
(for the advisory board)
